AIRlabs Austria operates a test infrastructure (R/TSA*) distributed throughout Austria for unmanned aerial systems (UAS, drones) that specialises in demanding, safety-critical applications. Our test areas range from high alpine regions to agricultural areas and controlled airfields. They enable realistic drone tests of long-range flights beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), autonomous flight manoeuvres and system validations under real weather and terrain conditions.
The location in sparsely populated areas reduces ground and air risks, creating optimal conditions for safe and practical drone flight tests in a protected environment – efficiently, realistically and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
