Drone4all
Validation of shared drone services in the AIRlabs Austria innovation laboratory (ongoing)
Drone4all’s vision: inclusive and safe drone sharing
The Drone4all project builds on the preliminary project ‘Community Drone’ and aims to develop an innovative, sustainable and inclusive concept for an efficient drone sharing system. The idea behind it is to use drones collectively for various applications – from damage assessment and environmental monitoring to surveying large areas. The AIRlabs innovation laboratory serves as a protected test environment for validating the developed concepts under realistic conditions.
Key project objectives: Efficient drone management through automation
Sustainability and efficiency through automated drone sharing
Drone4all is making an important contribution to competitive and sustainable aviation. The project aims to enable cost savings and more efficient use of resources through automated drone sharing. The technology developed not only offers a significant competitive advantage, but also demonstrates the strength of Austrian aviation in the field of intelligent and connected flight systems.
Outlook
From concept to practice – drone sharing systems of the future
Through practical validation at TRL 4 (Technology Readiness Level), Drone4all is paving the way for a functional, efficient and user-friendly drone sharing system. The aim is to make innovative drone applications more widely available while promoting economic and environmental sustainability.
Drone4all is a research project within the FFG TAKE OFF programme and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure (BMIMI).
