The ‘Long Night of Research’ took place on 24 May 2024, attracting numerous inquisitive children and young people. AIRlabs was also proud to be represented at FH JOANNEUM with its own stand to introduce visitors to the fascinating topic of drones and urban air mobility (UAM).
Our stand quickly attracted a lot of attention, especially with the drones on display, which aroused great interest among the visitors. Numerous questions were asked about drones – from participants who were simply fascinated by the look of the drones to young drone pilots who wanted to find out more about the technology and flying.
A particular highlight at our stand was conducting a survey as part of a research project. Over 130 people took part, which enabled us to analyse the data in depth. We also offered an exciting competition with the main prize being a flight in the FH JOANNEUM’s JSF2 flight simulator – a real highlight for the lucky winners.
Looking back, this was a very successful evening. The fascination for drones was awakened in many participants, and the event offered exciting insights as well as the opportunity to ask many questions. The interest and curiosity of the visitors was sustainably encouraged and we are already looking forward to future events where we can once again present the world of drones and urban air mobility.
Many thanks to all visitors our team and the FH JOANNEUM team for a successful event!
